Been MIA

Enquiring minds are wondering about the casserole dish. Here it is after Jay, cause he rocks like that, washed it. I am a walking advertisment for Corning Ware French White Caseroles. Now there's a dream come true.

It's been a weird week. I have been on my usual emotional roller coaster. You know how you are sometimes okay with things, and then slam, not so much? This was a not so much week.

In usual materlistic fashion I headed out on Thursday, and Friday and Saturday (ACK!) for some retail therapy. Don't worry I kept myself in check!

Here are some of my finds:

A pretty pink skirt to lighten my heart.

Spring shoes to put a spring in
my step.

And a daily reminder to live not only for today, cherishing every moment but to dream for tomorrow.

I also bought these because how cute are they? But they are also a half size too small. So I could keep them and never wear them because of the pain oh the pain or I could be rational and return them. I tried to find them in a bigger size but to no avail. But really, I am a work at home mommy, what do I need these for?

On another happy note, we ordered this camera from Airmiles! It's the Canon EOS Rebel SLR digital that I have been coveting this for quite some time due to all you amazing photographers our there in blog land. Jay okayed me wiping out our Airmiles account for it. I love him for more reasons than I can count and of them is because he knows exactly what I need.

Course it takes 4 weeks for Airmiles to ship so there will be no instant gratification there. Now I need to sign up for the photography course I have been wanting to take.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

how funny that you bought shoes that you can't even wear... I say return them for something more comfortable like sneakers!

hope this coming week finds you feeling more yourself

The shoes ARE cute!

And OH MAN I have some serious camera envy! I'm really really happy for you because I know you've been wanting an SLR! I can't wait to see the photos you take on it.

One day, my SLR will come.

Nuts - the link for the camera only works if you are logged in for airmiles. But I could look it up cuz you told us what it was. Very impressive. I love your shoes! I hate it when you can't find the ones you like in your size, but honestly if they don't fit and cause you pain, then you really won't wear them and they'll just be a waste of money and you'll feel bad about it later. Return them, wait a couple of weeks and shop again because they are still bringing out Spring stuff and I'm sure you'll find another pair you love (and you can take a picture of to share with us - LOL).
Hope this week treats you better, buddy!

Great finds. Although I would take the shoes back, then you can justify buying ones that fit :).

And Yay for ordering the camera. I have a Nikon DSLR, but have heard great reviews about the Canon. I hope you love it!

And your cabbage rolls look delicious even if the pot was a little charred.

Kami, you're hilarious, I would do that (and have done that) with shoes too!
Hope you have a good week ahead.
I shop whether I need the therapy or not. Me bad.

Cute shoes!! This is the camera my hubby gave me for X-mas. When you get it and learn how to use it correctly and professionally, you can give me some pointers - I have yet to figure out how to really use the thing. I love it though.

Take care - Kellan

I love your new camera too! I can't wait to hear all of the new things you are going to teach us while attending your photography class (hint hint).

Oh and that casserole dish just proves my 'theory' that men are just better dish washers than us.

I am sorry you are having one of those weeks. Let me know if I can do anything to help.

I love the skirt, I say keep it and we will have to do a girls night out and you can wear it. Either that or you and Jay head out for a night on the town and leave the boys with us.

YAY for the camera!
