Snow for Christmas

Snowy Lights

The snow did wonders for getting me pumped up and into the Christmas spirit! I have already done some baking and you already know that our house is decorated or decked with boughs of snowmen.

Today, I am over at Canada Moms Blog romanticizing snow and it's role in a Canadian Christmas, at least one here on the Prairies. I am curious, how about those of you who reside where there is no snow? Does snow and Christmas go together for you?

now that we have snow, I kind of want it gone again...is that bad? It's the freezing wind that comes along with it that I hate....the snow is pretty...
I have been away for x-mas( Ie: bahamas last year, sniff sniff) and I enjoy a break from the snow at x-mas every few years...just me, a fruity alcoholic drink, an ocean and a book would be just fine.....
Fireplace, wine and good company will have to do this year!

last night we watched a couple of shows on tacky Christmas lights. and you know what? without snow, the lights just look funny. i need snow for Christmas, but not the cold or the wind that goes along with it.

For me? YES YES YES! We have snow on the ground, and I'm in love with it... Been missing you, and thinking about you.... I'm a crappy keeper-in-toucher these days!

We almost always have snow for Christmas. It feels weird without it! As long as it's not bitter and icy, it's better to have snow for Christmas...

the lack of snow for christmas is never a surprise for us in texas. we actually like having mild winters most of the time. i guess its hard to miss something you never have. :-)
