We have a new family member. But it's of the four legged kind and technically she's not ours, per se. It's kind of like having grandchildren, we get to play with her and love on her but we have zero responsibility for her poop. It's win win if you ask me.
Meet my parents' new puppy, Mika (meekA).
She is sweet as pudding and we look forward to loving on her for years to come (minus the poop clean up, did I mention that?).
And because we rarely corral all 10 of us in one spot, we finally took a family photo! There was a telephone pole strategically placed that has since been removed and the lighting and me were not getting along but, we are all in one photo together and all smiling (sort of) so I say HUZZAH.
P.S. Thank you to each of you who took the time to comment on my last post. I am always scared when I lay out my deepest thoughts on here, not that it stops me, mind you. For the most part, the comments were food for thought, so thank you so very much.

I think the white background looks nice, but that's probably just me... : )
I want a puppy! Looks cute! That photo looks good, if you wanted to tone down the background you could fiddle with your white balance a little, I sometimes amp up the yellows just a little to make stark white sky look a little sunny and then I pull a little extra black in to make the focal point seem more defined.
But when in doubt, e-mail it to Angella, I'm sure she can figure it out :)

No clue about the sky in the pic. But, I'm interested in a fix too. That happens to me a lot.

As for the photo (LOVE), it's due to the exposure settings. You can play with it in Lightroom/Photoshop...If you send it to me I can see what I can do. :)
Oh my goodness, that pup is adorable! And I love the red in your family photo...very Christmassy! I think the white background makes you all "pop".

Your photo is awesome! And you are all matching, so wonderful. You can definitely adjust your lighting levels and use masks to only do the sky. You are doing great, can't tell where that pole was.
