Ramdom Lengths

Firstly, THANK YOU to all of you who commented and provided me with much needed affirmation on the Will Ferrell issue. I am not alone and that means the world to me.

Next important topic: my hair

I’ve recently had an epiphany about my hair. I know, I am SO deep. What can I say? I am sit around for hours pondering really important matters. Like my hair.

I have gone through cycles of having long hair then I get annoyed with it, chop it off only to grow it out again within a year. I am lucky that my hair grows fast so for me to chop it off isn’t a big deal. It’ll be back with vengeance within 6 months.

My epiphany is that I prefer it long. Take this picture:

After I had Jack I did this. Yes, WHAT was I thinking? And the glassess too. Yikes. But look at Jack, I could eat him up, what a pork chop! Jay is looking particularly smokin' too.

By the time Kamden was a year old my hair was back to this:

BTW, I still had the pregnancy hair. It was twice as thick as it is normally. Then it fell out and I did this to it. I was sick of shedding.

I don’t hate this. It’s fine. Although my hair stylist has much better luck styling it. What's that you say? It's not luck? Skill? Whatever.

Now take this:

And this:

Mucho better, no?

Yes. VERY cute..... just how it is now, with the curl.

I LOVE your hair how it is right now - so cute!

Yes, I like it right now too!

Um okay, I thought I was alone in the massaive hair loss department. Losing all that hair ALONE is one reason on the "Reasons I'm Not Sure I Want To Be Pregnant Again" list. I lose nearly all my hair around my face! Then when it grows back? I have terrible "fuzz" all along my hair line.

And I too did a big CHOP after Makenna was born. What is with the post-first-baby hair chopping?

I like it the way it is. I WISH my hair got thicker with pregnancies...it just grows like a weed and looks worse...:)

I think your hair looks great! I'm always very impressed by people who change the hair styles fairly often. I often wish I was a little more adventurous. Personally my hair is looking pretty pathetic today because I had to use my back up conditioner since I ran out of the good stuff.

I love your hair the way it is now - wavy in the back and straight in the front adds a lot of interest and the length is good because you can do so much with it. Your hair really does grow fast!

This is my theory about the chopping the hair after the first baby - a lot of women just don't want to deal with it and waste time on their own hair when they have a newborn - but after the first child, things aren't as crazy, they are able to balance things better, and it's not so hard to keep longer hair again. I dunno - just what I've seen in my family.

I love your hair! It looks good short, but I am biased to long, so I like it better long :).

We are so the same!!! I do the same thing with my hair, and we have similar wave/curl. Yes, I love the bottom one.... it's similar to how I wear mine now and it's much easier with the natural wave/curl. You are hot!!

I think you have great hair. I wish I was blessed with the skills that hair dressers possess. Maybe then I wouldn't have the same hair every day ;-)

I like it now too! I too cut my hair off and grow it out - all the time. Right now I am growing it out and getting the urge to chop it off again. I do this about every two years. I like yours now - it's cute on you and suits you!

Thanks for the prayers for our baby - see you soon. Kellan

This is too deep for me. ;) I think your hair looks very nice as you have it right now. Not that the short geeky look was bad. Heh.

Right now is great! Although the third to last photo is good too - aside from super short I don't think you could go wrong!

Like I said on Flickr, LOOKIN' HOT!

See you in two sleeps! Wheee!

I like it with the curls! It adds body and looks great.

I have to add this Will Ferrell link. Anyone who doesn't laugh at this sketch is questionable in my opinion...

You're a pretty woman (ala Julia Roberts!) and you'd look nice however you styled your hair, but I do like it longer on you. You have beautiful eyes, have you ever tried wearing full bangs? It would really make your eyes pop!

Lizzy
ps. Remember the old skit on SNL, "Deep Thoughts with Jack Handy"? We now have "Deep Thoughts with Kami"! HA!

I totally like it now, and glasses really suit you too!
I just got a haircut today. Giselle asked me why, because she doesn't like it LOL! Thinking about doing a hair post too ;) You should see some of the BAD cuts I've had in my lifetime.

I like your hair now... I have the same problem you do...I grow it out and then get sick of it and chop it off! You are not alone with your deep thoughts on the said subject!
