You all know how much I love Bon Jovi’s latest album, Lost Highway. Or maybe not but humour me a little today, kay.
One of my favourite songs on the album is called Summer Time, to hear it go here . Blogger doesn’t seem to be able to support audio files.
The song is perfect since it compares those fantastic moments in life to summer time.

Sun kissed skin from days at the beach….
The insane itch of mosquito bites…

I prefer the lake to the beach, but love water and the sun and would be happy at the beach too! Gotta take Alexis to the beach soon!

Yep, swimming is my favourite part of summer. Like you, I could live at the beach in summertime ... luckily for me, I pretty much do! Kind of feel silly saying this, since we live SO close to the sea, but I'd love to have a pool in the backyard!

My favorite thing about summer time is FREEDOM.
But. I admit. I REALLY, REALLY love the beach. My #1 choice to be.

You know I've always loved the beach. However when my 4 year old asked to go to the beach today (we haven't been this summer), I realized that because of the age/mobility/lack of listening of my two kids, I didn't think I would enjoy taking them by myself. We'll save that for when my husband can come too.

I'll take the Beach any day over any other part of summer. If I can't have the beach it is the fact that you don't have to bundle up to go outside :)
The best part of summer is the temperatures. I hate, hate, hate the cold! Of course the fresh fruits that aren't able to be grown at other times are good too, and the beach, and the sunsets, and well, I could just never stop!
