Winter, beautiful if viewed from a safe, warm distance, like your computer screen from Texas

The last two days winter has redeemed itself in my eyes, if only slightly. It has warmed up, the snow has started to melt and the sun has been shining with a warmth we haven't felt in months up here in the Arctic.But don't worry, the forecast calls for winter to rear it's ugly yet familiar face yet again beginning tomorrow.
If you need me, I'll be giving winter a wedgie with a handful of snow thrown down for good measure.

It's been downright BALMY here. Then I woke up to THREE INCHES OF SNOW this morning.
It does look beautiful from down here in TEXAS. I guess it can get old. Cute pictures. Stay warm, Kami!

Funny, both of our trees have white on them, it's just a different kind of white! I'm not helping, am I?

Funny, I don't miss our snow. I don't think we're done but right now it's gone and I don't miss it.
That's miserable Kams, I would die, or slip and fall... have I mentioned I can't even walk on snow?

Well, it sure looks beautiful from down here in New Zealand! We have just "officially" entered Autumn (Fall), although it is still Summery at times ... but even our winters are not as beautiful (read: cold) as yours!
I hope that you don't get too much more of Winter. We had a fabulous day today and lost just a bit more snow from the yard. I look forward to breaking out the lawn chairs, which won't be long, I hope.
Oh, I hear you, Kami! I'm done with Winter. It's been enough. Time to bring on spring. Although that IS a lovely shot of the tree you took there. And the kids ARE cute with their hats on. **sigh** But yeah - trees are pretty in bloom too and kids look cute swimming too. :) BRING ON THE SPRING! :)

does it bother you that i have a slight sunburn on my shoulders from working in my garden the last two days in tank tops???
