This boy of mine, the one full of P&V, if you know what I mean....
He has a best friend. A buddy that he has literally grown up. They have had their diapers changed side by side. They have learned to walk and talk together (maybe not at the same time though, right Candace?). They have spent that last two years in preschool together and at least on other day a week playing together at the other's house.
Their interests are almost identical, currently, all things superhero.
Together, they have nothing but fun. Not once while playing will they ever come to complain that there is nothing to do. To ask for a snack, well...., that's another story.
Next year, they will each go to different schools for Kindergarten but if their mommies have anything to do with it, their friendship will last forever.

Aww, so cute! I love the first picture especially of your son! Great action shot!
awww what a sweet post Kami. They are lucky to have eachother, think of how boring the past 5 years would have been without darkmatter and commander nebula (I am sure if the boys heard me say that they would correct me)now it is green ranger and red ranger. :-) And you are right there is no end in sight for this friendship, you cant get anymore close than having your dirty pants changed in front of your buddy, that is a bond that will last a life time ;-)
Aww, they are so cute! It's neat watching your children make special friends ... even if the friendship was initially your making, through being friends with the other child's mom ;-)
I'm sure if they have been so close for this long, they will remain friends even when they are going to different schools.
love it....why different schools?
so cute... looks like they have a blast together just being boys
So, so cute. I love seeing little dudes with their buddies.
so sweet! it's so easy to be a friend when you're a kid, no? so uncomplicated.
Those pictures are so sweet, it will be so neat for them to have them when they get older.
My one brother has (many good friends the dude is such a social butterfly) one friend that he had since he was 4. When they were 5 my mom took a picture them at one of the local parks standing on a log the was crossing a stream. When they were 22 they went back to the same log and got a friend to take a picture of them again. So fun to see the 2 pictures side by side. :)
Oh no, different schools! I hope you guys manage to keep them playing together, friends like that don't come cheap.
Those friendships can often last a lifetime.
My boy has a best friend he's known his daycare (3)... they're now 9 and going strong. He calls him his "forever friend".
Look like your boy has one too, which is just awesome!
