Here is the bathroom before. This picture makes it look way better, trust me.
Target was my saviour. This shower curtain is exactly what I was looking for and hunted high and low both locally and online to no avail. When I was in Bismarck I found it.
And angels sang.
Well not really, it is just a shower curtain but I was pretty happy. As happy as you can be after your 12th straight hour of shopping anyway.
The one thing our house lacks is storage so every reno involves maximizing our
storage. This tall cabinet is very roomy.
And as always, I enlarge my own amateur photos to decorate. It's cheap and it makes me feel like my hobby is worth something.
These are from twilight at the lake.
And sunset at the lake - those colours are not photoshopped. I wouldn't even know how, I promise you.
And now I will multi task - two posts in one. Aren't you lucky? Don't answer that.
Jack also had his piano recital this weekend. I know I am bias but he sure is handsome.
and that dimple....

I totally know what you mean about finding the right shower curtain, trust me. And I ADORE the fact that you are using your own photography on the walls! Gorgeous!
And yep, that dimple is killer. ;)
I LOVE the bathroom! I'd love a cabinet like that in the kids' bathroom.
I'm a sucker for dimples. :)
The bathroom looks excellent and I hated to play in my piano recitals, all 9 years of them. He's one handsome dude though :)
The bathroom looks great, and I love the idea of framing photos to hang on the wall. I don't have anything on the wall of my bathrooms except an ornamental bronze dragonfly that Rob & I bought for one of our anniversaries. Never thought about hanging pictures, but it's a great idea.
Gosh, Jack is looking so grown up! I love the photos of his recital, brings back memories for me! Oh, and dimples get me every time ;-)
Finding the shower curtain in the right colors and in the stripes going in direction you want made a big difference. I also love the darker cabinet color! I could use your input when I do my bathroom over sometime in the future! BTW - I've been trying to comment here for a while but didn't have a proper Open ID or whatever I needed so I am hoping this works now. Am adding you to my new blogroll.
