Daisies in the back yard.
I bought two hydrangea's this year however, since they are native to the Azores in Portugal (see Teeni, I learned something from your travels!) I am wondering how they will winter here. One is blooming already and I had to capture it on film. I may be posting pictures in the spring of the dead twigs...
I forget what this one is called but it's new this summer too. See my froggy peeking in the background?

That is so funny b/c even before I read your words I was like, "Wonder what she's going to say about the water coming out of his butt!" And you came through for me girl! HA!
I think the flower pics are pretty good. I am trying to learn my camera as we speak and it's certainly a challenge. Keep working at it though!
Oh Kami, you are so ahead of me girl... I'm still doing the point and click, and thinking of taking a community course in how to use a digital.. lame-oh..
Is yours an SLR? Ian has one and it is sooooo intimidating...

okay, that looks like so much fun to play outside in the water. too hot here for even that fun! i think your pictures look amazing especially when compared to mine!

I have a beautiful hydrangea (sp?) bush (sounds dirty but it's not). My winters might not be AS BAD as yours, but my bush (again) does recover very well every year.
Those are great photos! I love the daisies, you really captured the colours. Keep it up, it will come together for you.
