A Moment of Complete Clarity

Twilight

We were driving between Jay's parents and my parents this past Easter weekend bathed in the beautiful golden twilight of the sun on the Prairie backdrop.

I looked over at my husband and back at my two sons and breathed a sign of contentment.

At that moment, I realized that all was right in my world.

It is so easy to get hung up in the mundane details of life and forget the bigger picture. But at that moment, I was right where I was supposed to be.

I still am. There really is no greater gift and I promise not to take it for granted for a second.

That's a great photo and a great realization. There is something so amazing in the peace that can be found in everyday life, in the ones we love. I'm glad you got to feel that :)

so glad you were able to just stop and smile...you are so blessed. Your "men" are amazing, you are healthy and happy and what more can one ask for!!

Besides living closer to me.....I miss you!

Awesome post, Kami! And a gorgeous photo. Thanks for the reminder that we need to stop and be thankful for what we do have, because we have so much. It's easy to get dragged down by the "other stuff" of day-to-day life and miss out on the blessings we have every single day.

I'm so happy that you are so blessed! xx

I love those moments. If only they came along a little more often as a gentle reminder. So glad you had that moment.

Just gorgeous. I had a similar moment today, while washing the dinner dishes. I just felt so blessed in that moment, to have such a beautiful family to wash dishes for... (I didn;t take a picture though. hee hee.)

Great shot Kami - so PRETTY!
